SHIMANAMI KAIDO
Honshu island (i.e. Japan's mainland) is connected to Shikoku island by the Shimanami Kaido, a 70 kilometres long toll road consisting of six small islands on the Seto Inland Sea, famous for the breathtaking views of the Seto Inland Sea.
There are different attractions on the islands such as the 700 carved Buddhist statues on Mt. Shiratake in Innoshima or Kosanji temple in Ikuchijima Island.
