TTA PROTECTION

We are members of the Travel Trust Association (TTA), a travel trade association that exists in order to provide you with 100% financial protection. Every penny that you pay us is protected by the Travel Trust Association. Our membership number is U3078.

When you make a payment to us your money is deposited into the Trust Account. A Trust Account is a bank account designated to hold the customers' money.

Your money remains in the Trust Account and is supervised by an appointed Trustee who is either a banker, chartered or certified accountant, or a solicitor. Both the Travel Trust Association members AND the Trustee are required to authorise payments from the Trust Account.

In addition to being held in trust, you also have a financial guarantee from the Travel Trust Association.


TTA will guarantee the financial obligation of its Members up to a maximum any one passenger of £11,000. So if you paid £2,000 we guarantee we will reimburse the loss of the £2,000, where it is not available for you from the Trust Account.

Therefore, the Trust Account plus the guarantee will ensure that all the money which you have paid is safely protected and available to reimburse the money paid.

Covid-19 Booking Policy:

 

1. Guaranteed Refund

If, within 21 days of your date of departure, you are unable to travel as either you are prevented from leaving your home country by government guidance, or unable to enter Japan as visitors are not permitted, then you can choose to either rebook your trip to a later date or an alternative destination at no charge, or receive a full refund. Additionally, if you are prevented from travelling due to personal reasons related to the Covid-19 situation*, and are unable to claim on your travel insurance, we will provide free rebooking or full refund.
 

2. Balance Due Date

We have changed our balance payment due date from 12 weeks prior to departure to 6 weeks prior to departure.
 

* We are including the following personal situations in this promise:

   -  If you or a member of the travelling party is asked to go into quarantine or self-isolation for a period of time over-lapping with the planned travel dates.

  -  If you or a member of the party becomes infected with Covid-19 between 30 days to 7 days prior to departure.
 

 

COVID-19 News (July 2022):
 

In terms of travelling, prices are very reasonable at the moment and we can offer a lot of great deals. This situation will change as soon as the authorities announce when the borders will reopen as accommodation prices will shoot up. Therefore please do contact us now for a quote and we can fix a very reasonably priced trip once you pay your deposit.

As of June 2022, Japan has resumed international tourism. However, at the moment tourist can only join guided tours and a Guide is required to stay with passengers from the arrival to the departure. A ERFS visa is also required to visit Japan - which we can arrange.

 

Japan should issue new guidelines shortly and we expect these rules to fall away by Autumn 2022.
