DAILY ITINERARY
5 January:
Arrive at the quaint medieval market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, and check-in to the lovely 4* Hotel Indigo Stratford-upon-Avon for the next 4 nights. Enjoy an afternoon quilt class followed by a delicious Tudor Feast Welcome Dinner at the hotel tonight.
6 January:
After breakfast, take part in another quilt session. Early this evening enjoy a pre-show 3-course dinner at the Rooftop Restaurant at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre followed by a cheery production by the RSC of The Three Musketeers.
7 January:
Immerse yourself in 16th Century Stratford-upon-Avon today as you visit Shakespeare's Schoolroom, where you can experience Tudor school life in this fascinating building, and even try writing with a quill and ink. In the afternoon, enjoy a quilt class back at the hotel. Later treat yourself to a vintage-themed scone Cream Tea at the Fourteas Tea-Room.
8 January:
Visit Judith's (run by the Shakespeare Distillery) today, where you will take part in a gin tasting and sample 3 delicious gins (non-alcoholic options are also available). Afterwards, enjoy quilt session and a lovely Farewell Dinner for your final night.
9 January:
After breakfast, check out of your hotel this morning and depart Stratford-upon-Avon.

YOUR QUILT EXPERT
A former Editor for (British) Patchwork & Quilting magazine, Judi Mendelssohn gives talks and teaches patchwork workshops and classes around the UK and abroad.
Judi will lead some hand sewing projects during the staycation and share her knowledge of Japanese quilts, fabrics and techniques. She has joined Japan Journeys on several cruises and their quilt tours to Japan.
