OUR QUILT EXPERTS

A former Editor for (British) Patchwork & Quilting magazine, Judi gives talks and teaches patchwork workshops around the UK and abroad. She has joined Japan Journeys on several cruises and their quilt tours to Japan.
Barbara is a teacher, writer and designer with more than 35 years' international experience, with hand stitching and especially traditional hand quilting a particular focus. She has written four books, of which, 'The Essential Quilter' and 'Quilt It!' are considered classics. She also has six fabric collections to her credit and has designed hundreds of quilting stencils.
Between them Barbara and Judi will provide a wide range of workshops over the cruise days, as they have very different styles, which is their strength, plus a lot of badinage, Chainey wisdom, and laughter.
