This guided walk visits Kamakura, not far from central Tokyo and a popular tourist destination for its temples and shrines. You will start by visiting Hasedera Temple where you can enjoy fantastic views of the sea and Kamakura. Then make the short walk to the Great Buddha one of the most recognized Buddha statues and second largest in Japan. After lunch you will take the historic Enoshima Railway along the coast to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. The approach to the Shrine is famous for the many cherry trees that line the path up to the entrance. On your way back to Tokyo you will have the opportunity to have a look in the many arts and crafts shops and tea shops in Komachi shopping street.
