Visit the Horino Memorial Museum, a former sake brewery which produced one of the highest quality brands of sake in Japan. You will be greeted by an English speaking attendant before taking a tour of the old sake brewery where you will told all about the materials used and purpose of each room in the brewery. In the courtyard garden you will be able to sample one of the key ingredients used to make the sake, pure spring water, from the well which hasn’t stopped flowing for over 200 years. You can then enjoy sampling a few glasses of sake with some tasty cooked snacks at the café.
